1. I'm culinarily indecisive today. I'm thawing out a pound of lean ground beef...

... and I probably won't decide until the last minute whether it's going to
be the base for spaghetti sauce, stroganoff or burritos.

I'm lying on my side typing and had to correct a typo of "buttitos".

.
Something tells me it ain't gonna be them.
.
.
Whatever I decide on, I've got a pound of sliced white mushrooms to
sauté in butter and Worcestershire for it.

.
And chocolate ice cream with white chocolate chunks and some fresh
raspberries on top for dessert.
.
Of THAT... there is no doubt.
.
This MAY be a "dessert-first" night.

2. Black bean soup, corn scones and a tossed salad

I think summer is over.....good day for soup .

3. Lazy today. tomato salad and a sandwich.

tomorrow making beef stroganoff.

with mashed potatoes and peas and carrots.

But Renate assures me that proper fricadellen are to be found only in Hesse.

5. Peach Salsa Chicken Salad Wraps

Left over peach salsa, 1/2 chicken breast shake & baked cut up, mayo and curry mixed and folded into a warmed multi-grain flat bread.

A hat tip to grasswire for the mayo curry idea. That fruity chicken salad sounded good. So I adapted the recipe to what I had. Fruity chicken salad with peach salsa, mayo, curry!

Sometimes I fail miserably with my experiments...... but not this time.
