1. Linguine with a mushroom/garlic sauce, a tossed salad and hard rolls

It is perfect weather for leftover stew here too. So cold for mid December and we are to have lake effect snow starting this afternoon. It will be a really long winter.

2. Panko encrusted baked salmon

3. Tuna melt, muenster on rye. Cream of mushroom soup, canned "doctored" with fresh thyme, rosemary.

4. Pork chops with escalloped potatoes...

in a Swiss/Gruyere cheese and cream sauce. Was going to have carrots, but I burned them and now am out of them.

5. linguini pescatore

with clams, squid, cod, and scallops in a rich red sauce.

6. Last of the fridge clean out!

Fresh chicken broth with the last carrot cooked in it.

Grilled cheese sandwich with the last of the bread.

Romaine lettuce with a simple dressing.

And the rest of that killer apple crisp with yogurt.

7. zucchini-crust pizza

Seafood on top.

The crust has grated zucchini, eggs, flour, basil, parmesan, and mozzarella in it.

Dessert is fruit salad with raspberries, blackberries, bananas, and tangerines.

9. On the New England coast some places made "lobster pizza". No tomato sauce at all.

Rosemary pie crust. Chunky cubed lobster tails, bell pepper, garlic, ground black pepper corns and three cheeses. Shredded fresh basil on top. Expensive as all get out. But a great pizza treat.

8. Fried rice and panko fried shrimp

And it is a hit for both kids. Actually made fried fried rice balls for the T-man as his pork skills are still a bit lacking.
