At least let me have time to digest my dinner from Saturday the 25th!

...and of course now all I'm thinking about is: what am I going to cook for dinner tomorrow???

It's so easy to make and I'm still painting, so easy is what I need. I make it with chicken-cilantro wontons from Trader Joe's.

Last night I prepped for a salad with chopped vegetables, mint, gorgonzola crumbles, and toasted sunflower seeds. That will be easy to put together, too.

Using a Martha Stewart recipe, I'm also roasting a couple pineapples. The recipe calls for basting the pineapple slices with turbinado and a little cayenne, lime juice, etc. Should make the kitchen have a wonderful aroma!

It's so cold here my pipes are frozen in my main kitchen, so now I'm having to dishes by hand in the butler's pantry.

And when I was at Trader Joe's Friday night, it was so cold that my key broke in half when I tried to put it in the ignition. Had to "get rescued."

Sorry about your pipes and your key.

If I ever get misty eyed about how I miss the winter, I am going to think of you, lol.

and roasted poblanos with a cream/cheese sauces.

I have (finally) learned enough to be able to determine what kind of meat I am getting and this is definitely pork.

I'm not sure what part of the pig, but it's definitely pig.
