they'll be a fantastic Depression Coffee. My ex liked it better than any commercial blend.

and the nearly black chickpeas smelled so much like coffee I ground it up and brewed it for my ex that night.

I didn't do it often, it tended to smoke the place up, but it was appreciated when I did. I never did make toasted chickpeas, the fake coffee was too good to waste them.

I've finally done things this month like get a dehydrator and make Kale chips (yum), and THIS should be an easy recipe. My goal is to replace the highly processed high caloric stuff in our pantry, as it all too easy to eat through a bag of nuts.

I'm gonna try this one!

Take the time to squeeze the peel off each garbanzo bean before baking, otherwise the seasoning sticks to the peel, which falls off the bean.
