chia

I think I really like the stuff. Some of those chia drinks, and chia "puddings" have caught my interest lately, so I decided to make my own. It's very easy.

you'll need:
a one quart bottle of juice - any kind you like
1/2 cup of whole chia seeds - I used the white kind, but from my research, either color should work

pour off about a cup of the juice
add the chia seeds to the bottle
fill bottle with juice - some will remain (1/2 cup), drink this, or reserve for something else
cover bottle, shake vigorously a few times
let rest for five or ten minutes
shake again
repeat the last two steps a few times
refrigerate overnight

In the morning you will have a quart of gloopy "pudding". It is just drinkable in texture, and it tastes like whatever juice you used. Pour into glasses or cups, and drink or spoon as desired.

I am so glad that you found a way to have it that works for you though!
