I ended up not eating last night and Bill made Chinese for himself and a friend, so we are going to try the sausage and peppers again tonight.
What's for dinner where you are?

(28,791 posts)found both at the market yesterday, wild caught from Canada and US. First fish I've bought in months. I just hope I can manage to eat some, I know it's good for me except for the mercury and other toxins..

(28,791 posts)Just a little sticking, but it's new and needs a little more seasoning. My eggs came out perfect from the same pan this morning
The flounder sucked, turned to mush so it must have been previously frozen. The cats loved it.

(31,170 posts)I have a really big skillet in my collection that I use instead of my roasting pans a lot of the time. It's heavy, but the handle makes it easier for me to get it out of the oven. Plus things are just better in cast iron!.
Sorry about the flounder.

(4,074 posts)I really wanted crepes this morning but realized we were out of milk. It's snowing all day so no going to the store. I found a few recipes using milk and beer in crepes. I decided to try some with just beer. I made it with a bottle of New Castle. It turned out well. I had one with egg and cheese and my wife had one with jelly. I'm thinking of beer crepes with mushrooms, onions, and cheese for dinner tonight.
