I'm still in "morning coffee mode", but was awake enough to pull the 1/2 rack out of the freezer.

I'll grill it with TJ's BBQ sauce, mixed with a chili-garlic sauce (Huy Fong).

With cole slaw, and a classic spud salad. (Which reminds me, I still have to make the spud salad. - Maybe after the 2nd cup of coffee?)

I was just on the phone with the RG, one hour away, who asks me questions about what we have. In his head, he puts together the menu! It is fun to see how his creative mind works.

So here is tonight's menu:

Stuffed chicken breasts. They will be stuffed with "some interesting cheese." I have yet to find this cheese, but I'm sure it's there. He buys all kinds of "interesting cheese." They will be breaded (using Judy bread). Cooked in butter. Mushrooms over the top.

For the salad, we're mixing romaine with fennel fronds (he got all excited when I told him I had fennel fronds). In this salad will be prosciutto and the dressing will be raspberry jam and balsamic cream, to mention a few of the ingredients.

I wonder if I should make my Brussels sprouts. I was going to make orange-glazed Brussels sprouts, but that seems a little over the top with this menu.

I think our lawyer friend will be stopping by. He likes to bring cardamon-ginger vanilla ice cream as a dessert.

Sunday afternoon I put some in the oven with olive oil, sea salt and thyme, at 400 degrees while a chicken was roasting. Then I fell asleep while reading.

Crisped blackened sprouts do not smell great.
