(65 posts)I am going to give his recipe, Daube of Beef Oxtails Provencal, a try - it looks and sounds amazing!
Ages ago, I was driving from Carcassonne to Perpignan and decided to make several stops off the major highway. I had the best time and ate the best food of my life! Small towns with fruit and veg markets in the square; the sites, smells, and tastes of family run restaurants and cafes. Oh, and the aroma from the boulangeries in the wee morning hours - heaven. I think I may have just talked myself into clicking over to Expedia

(12,366 posts)Working with black and white truffles.... His Facebook has more recent pictures of the beautiful truffles... He apparently hasn't had time to update the blog from New York... It's a business visit.

(65 posts)If he ever gets to D.C., I am there, but not in a stalker sort of way ! Truffles are an extravagance for me - black diamonds I love them! I have often said that I want to go to cooking school in France, the caveat being a 4-yr degree
