Super Bowl/Party Snacks

I'm heading to a Super Bowl party tomorrow. I'm usually a dessert bringer, but my friend's mom is pre-diabetic and he thought that it would be best if I didn't bring a sweet. I was also told dip and a veggie tray has been taken care of.

I searched today on All Recipes and I'm going to make Jalapeno Popper Cups. http://allrecipes.com/recipe/jalapeno-popper-cups-2/Detail.aspx

I'm going to take the suggestion from the reviews and use the Tostitos Scoops chip instead of phyllo cups. I'll also use real bacon and not bacon bits.

What are your favorite party snacks?

I make something very similar.

Stuff jalapenos with cream cheese. Wrap with a slice of bacon. Bake until bacon is crisp. Serve right away.

You can prepare them before hand and then stick them in the oven when you are ready to serve.

Really yummy.

You can also assemble and bake this at home and either serve at room temperature

Here is my favorite recipe for this (i use premade dough and leave out the capers)

I meant to tell you, the coworker, he does some with just cream cheese and then others with like smoked salmon too.

there are warm and cold ones but I like the cold ones the best.

Have used this recipe as a guide before
http://allrecipes.com/recipe/creamy-shrimp-stuffed-cherry-tomatoes/

but reduce the amount of mayo to half, and use lowfat sour cream for the other.
Also used crab meat instead of shrimp and add cayenne and dash of Worcestershire.

and some other things. Crispy green beans:

I've used this recipe before and just used some store bought Ranch dressing with some lousiana hot sauce mixed in for dipping.
