husband and i were supposed to go have a cookout yesterday for our anniversary, but i might have had too much fun friday night and spent most of yesterday recovering.

i'm going to make roasted potato salad and an asian slaw to go with it.

They've been marinating in red wine, garlic, shallots and a dash of Worcestershire since yesterday. Medium-rare, please.

With a salad of cukes, tomato and sweet onions. Also, I found an ear of corn back in the fridge, so I'll grill that too. Just sauteed some mushrooms (because beef and mushrooms are a match made in heaven). Not sure about the spuds yet, film at eleven.

ps: Fizz - I hear ya re: recovery. My head hurts today, after going out with da boys and girls last night.

damn, they were so good! Moist and tender. Smokey and not overly sauced. I could have made myself sick but I held back.
