What's for Dinner, Sat., Nov. 7, 2015

I don't know, but I'd better plan for it--I've been working outside all day and I know I'll have an appetite pretty soon! I cut down hedges that were 15-20 feet in height, piled them on top of my station wagon, and took them to the recycling center. Our town maintains a huge compost operation out there. I made four trips today and 3 yesterday.

So I'm thinking I may have a veggie burger around 6 and later make that same stir fry recipe I made earlier in the week with beef strips, baby bok choy, and red pepper.

One thing's for certain, I already have the makings for a Greek salad, so I'll have that with the veggie burger.

And a fresh loaf of homemade bread-it's fall, yippee! I used my mini crockpot for the soup, 1/2 pkg of beans was perfect for it. The mini crock is supposed to be used for potpourri, hot dips and the like, but it's worked perfectly for small portions, as I'm only cooking for 1. The big crock makes way too much and it often ends up wasted.
