Related: About this forumMy brother just brought me a sack of lemons from his tree
He's got a dwarf lemon tree in his yard and it had about 200 ripe lemons on it that he picked before covering the tree since it's supposed to get near freezing tonight. He said there were about 200 more on it that were not quite ripe yet.
One year there were so many lemons that the branches were pulled to the ground by the weight.

(9,838 posts)I have made it many times. It makes a great glaze for grilled or roasted chicken. It's good in plain yogurt, on biscuits or toast. All you need is lemons, sugar, a few jars and a little time.
ETA: Oh, and a sharp knife!
