What's for Dinner, Sat., Dec. 5, 2015

Well, boohoo, the RG is on his way to Colorado, but he left me a beautiful steak, so I will make that for tonight.

Earlier in the day, we had brunch at home. He made a dish using fresh pasta. It was stuffed with cheese and had prosciutto in cream sauce over it. Ummm! Also, there was a cucumber-tomato salad with fresh grapefruit slices. Doesn't that sound weird? Well, it was absolutely delicious!

While dining, we watched "LeChef" on Netflix. So funny! I may watch it twice. Here's the description:

"The friction between gourmet chef Alexandre Lagarde and his interfering boss threatens to ruin Lagarde's reputation and lose him his position.

Jean Reno ("The Pink Panther&quot stars as a cantankerous old-school chef in this delectable comedy."

Received 4.5 stars!

I realized after digging through the freezer that I had a lot of frozen seafood, but not enough for each make a full meal. So, I'm making a seafood chowder - with oysters, clams, muscles, shrimp. Spuds, celery, onion and corn.
Clear style (no milk/cream). Fortunately, I also found a 1/2-package of frozen salt pork!

(I really need to keep track of what's in my freezer, eh?)
