What's for Dinner, Wed., Aug. 17, 2016

We're going to a Chinese buffet tonight. My brother says the buffet has quite a few chicken dishes, including sesame, their "house" specialty chicken dish, plus the usual, like vegetable lo mein and stir fry vegetables.

with sun-dried tomatoes and pecorino romano cheese. Maybe a side sausage, too. Definitely a green salad.

The cilantro, cherry tomatoes and cuke are from the garden this morning. We planted late, but man, this year's yield is looking fabulous.

Yesterday's supper was a cod fillet with 1T garlic/anchovy/butter sauce, and steamed yellow squash (red chili flakes, salt, blk pepper).

There's really nothing like fresh from the garden to table. Yum!
