over mashed spuds, with a mushroom gravy. I got the idea after watching an episode of Triple-D (some all-meatball diner in Toronto, "Hey Meatball".

With a side of roasted aparagus.

I realized I had no chix stock, so I pulled a chicken leg out of the freezer, and am now making stock. I'll use the meat for chicken salad sandwiches for lunch.

I had some leftover pre-ferment this week so I mixed a batch of pizza dough. We'll top with a fresh tomato sauce I made this morning (secret ingredient: lemon juice), sweet Italian sausage, sun dried tomatoes, red onion, eggplant and Parmesan cheese.

don't you just drool over those Southern dishes she comes up with? I get a visual splash in my consciousness when I read them.

Yeah, I want to be invited to Japple's, too.
