Vegetable kabobs, marinated with that new jalapeno raspberry jam as an ingredient.
Dessert: teensy bit of pistachio ice cream and a Tait's chocolate walnut cookie.

(2,302 posts)My culinary wizard daughter is here for a few weeks and we started out with a simple dinner. The dish was sauced with European butter, lemon juice, and topped with fresh shredded Reg parm. She had her first taste of my homemade lemon and raspberry sherbet, and I think she really liked it. We're going to try making gelato in the Cuisinart ice-cream machine soon.
