What's for Dinner, Fri., Mar. 9, 2018

I have no idea what we'll have for dinner tonight, as we are snowbound and cannot go to the store or a restaurant. Nor can we get delivery.

There's plenty of food here but the RG, who is returning around 6 from Denver, will not eat leftovers. So maybe he will cook up something like spaghetti carbonara and we'll make a salad.

He was supposed to be back Tues., but the storm caused his flight to be cancelled.

Tomorrow will be another day of trying to remove downed trees from the private road we live on.

My son and I are at the mountain house and the power was finally restored. We decided to celebrate with a good meal:

Pan fried NY strip steaks topped with lump crab meat and Bearnaise sauce. Steamed asparagus and mashed potatoes. I can't decide if we'll have a salad or not. We have some fresh cookies for desert.

I hope you get your power restored soon, NJCher!
