I splurged and bought a 7-1/2 lb ham from Oscar's.

I didn't have to drive to the Adirondacks. It was "imported" to NJ.

This is a BIG deal for me as it cost a lot for meat. It was pre-cooked, so all I had to do was warm it up, put some sweet-and-sour paste on it, and finish it up.

I took it out of the oven 30 minutes ago. OMG! It's so tender and flavorful that it re-invents the concept of ham. Worth every friggin' penny!

Bon apetit. Happy New Year
Plus the ham left-over sandwiches are really really special. Yum.

I get a kick when I feel I can REALLY enjoy a meal that I made.

This ham is country club/buffet good.
