The fastest and easiet way to peel hardboiled eggs.

I tried a lot of tips, this is the only way that works easy and fast.
Plus, since I have a soft bandage covering the palm of one hand, this is really handy for limited hand use.

Hard boil your eggs, as usual, cool them down in ice water till they are comfortable to handle.
get a glass or a glass pint jar ( I use this, I like drinking out of them too)
smack the round bottom of the egg enough to crack it...like you would hit a soft boiled egg sharply a spoon to eat it.
Put the egg into the glass, cover the top against one palm, hold it sideways, and shake it vigorously back and forth.
You can do 2 eggs at a time if they fit with enough shaking room.
The idea is to have the eggs smacking against the glass.
In about 5 or 6 seconds the shell will start to come off.
You can peel it with a slipping motion after that, or, with more shaking, it will slip right off in the jar.

the eggs emerge quite intact.

I haven't used it yet. I just steam my eggs, so easy to peel. And I don't have to clean up another item.

Week old eggs from the fridge are easier than brand new eggs.

If one wants formed hard boiled eggs, then using the Instant Pot, 6 minutes under low pressure (or 5 minutes under high pressure) is the way to go. Shells easily peel off.

But if one wants hard boiled eggs for egg salad, then you crack your raw eggs into the Instant Pot, set the timer, and within 5 minutes you have hard boiled eggs, already out of their shells. Just fluff them up with a fork.

I've been hearing about those Instant pots. Hmmm.. ya know, as one gets older and things take more effort, having neat tools makes a lot of sense.
