(68,556 posts)smoked wild caught salmon with salt, maple sugar and pepper...so so good. and whipped cream cheese (less calories) and a banana. the two ingredient bagel uses self rising flour (1 cup) and greek yogurt (one cup each plus I use an egg). I make my own self rising flour as I can't eat gluten. with baking powder and salt (two tsp per 1 cup of flour and 1/2 tsp of salt per 1 cup of flour). My daughter who is also a Celiac likes it better than any GF bread so I make it almost every day or every other day. I hope you have a wonderful day! I am having scrambled eggs and yogurt with cherries for lunch also veg after my swim...

(22,035 posts)We're traveling and staying at a hotel in Chicago. I went to the lobby get some coffee this morning and poured two cups. Half way through the cup, the Landlady(!) looked at me and declared, "This is decaf, dammit!" When I went back to get two fresh cups, I discovered she was right and I had decanted from the wrong container.
Sometimes, I hate mornings.
I have a business brunch later this morning. Hope they'll have Bloody Marys.
My son made a business trip to New Orleans last year. At the hotel breakfast bar, people were getting visibly upset with the servers because they were told that the kitchen ran out of regular coffee and was serving decaf instead. !!! Finally they sent someone down the street to procure some decent coffee. He found this amusing since he drinks green tea in the mornings but he knows how I am with my coffee. I feel your pain!
I've been having decaf to help reduce heart burn.
YAY Bloody Mary!
HI, Chicago!

(35,661 posts)Hemp and flax granola, which doesn't sound good but it was. Chopped up part of a nectarine, added a little agave and some milk. Yum!
My coffee days are over. I am so envious when I read about everyone being able to drink real coffee. Even low-acid coffee doesn't work for me. I also get envious when people remark about going out for a cream cheese bagel and coffee. I used to love that part of the morning.

(130,891 posts)trying to figure out how to deal with diabetes before I see my doc. Now, decaf from Dunkin, skim milk, + sweet/n/lo, testing the sugar substitutes. Maybe cheerios + blueberries for brunch.
