(5,657 posts)From last night. Had a guest, too. He is a bachelor so was very appreciative of my home cooking. Though I did use a lot of shortcuts due to the wrist recovery.
Shepherd Pie
Kale, golden beet, kohlrabi and cabbage salad/slaw with raisins and walnuts. Bottled Strawberry dressing added a half hr prior to serving to marinate.
Homemade pumpkin pie with whipped cream for dessert. Pie night at my house. 😛
Made two so still have some for tonight.

(35,663 posts)yum, I want to try that salad. I even have a kohlrabi in the frig (grew it myself!) but the golden beet went on my shopping list.

(5,657 posts)This was a bagged organic mix because I cant peel, chop, or cut well yet.
The dressing was bolthouse farms strawberry poppyseed.
If I would have have had Craisins I would have used those over raisins. I like em better.

(68,556 posts)pumpkin with a bit of whipped topping...and for a snack...fun size butterfingers. Water to drink. Oh I also made gravy...cooked the roast in the instapot so the gravy was terrific.

Honey-garlic. But it starts with paprika on the fish. It was well received.
