(14,176 posts)my neighborhood is about 75% Latino (and I'm less than a mile from the heart of Koreatown)and they were smarter than me and go to the shelves before I did. I'm sure it's only going to last a bit longer and I do have a few pounds of beans here, but I'd love some lentils and white beans and basmati rice.

Green Peas.
Sauerkraut. Be sure to rinse off the extra salt.
Ham hock. cook for a long time then remove meat and add to sauerkraut.
