What's for Dinner, Tues., Mar. 31, 2020

We've been watching Madmen too much; the RG made duck breasts a' L Orange. Of course he had to add his "touch" which was deep fried orange peel crispies to sprinkle over the top.

Oh well, Saveur says it never goes out of style but I haven't thought of it since to 60s.

To go with it, a citrusy salad made of diced cucumber, fennel, red pepper, and yellow pepper. A little bit of red onion and orange-based dressing.

Dessert is a small scoop of pistachio gelato.

to which I am adding 3 crumbled strips of bacon, 1 sliced leek, a diced red potato, 1/4 minced onion and some leftover diced ham. And a tiny little splash of liquid smoke.

peanut butter cup ice cream for dessert.
