3. Good morning all

A cool (40s) rainy morning

I'm brewing coffee and waiting for TJ to come home from work.

FLFC was begging for a snack this morning. After trying various treats he settled on Temptations Beef cat treats.

He wanted to go out and bark at things. I carried him out on the porch and showed him the rain. He licked my fingers and indicated he would much rather doze on the couch. I think he has the right idea.

6. I love keeping up with FLFC

He is always good for a smile, a chuckle, and a lot of times an outright laugh.

This a.m. I made ginger tea from grated ginger root. That's 'cuz the RG grated up the root, forgetting we have the packets. Either way, it's tasty and I like mine with a bit of agave.

Warmed up a bagel and had it with cream cheese. The RG made me a pear sandwich with nut butter. I have a few pork sausage patties in the slow cooker and they should be ready shortly.

I want an apple but we're out. That's on today's shopping list!

7. Speaking of apples

FLFC has been complaining he's hungry but turning down everything but human beef snacks. They are like salami and about the size of a Vienna sausage. He seems to get indigestion from them so he can't have all he wants. All of a sudden this morning, apple slices are his food of choice.
