Pear, pomegranate and lettuce salad.
Dessert might be my slowcooker coconut cake if it's ready. If not, just fruit and tea.

(23,364 posts)I'm going to slice it on the meat slicer and make hot beef and mushroom sandwiches. Mustard green and pea shoot salad on the side with a miso dressing. A nice glass of port for dessert but only for me...not for the kiddo.

Ice cream for dessert. It's "espresso coffee cake" flavor by a regional (I think regional) brand--Brigham's. We have come to the conclusion, that it's the best value around when it comes to premium ice cream. (Don't get me wrong, Ben & Jerry's is wonderful, but it's insanely expensive.)
