Chicken leg quarters in the crock pot with herbs plus a rice and vegetable combo from the freezer.
FLFC has been smelling the chicken and demanding some. He couldn't have any yet and had to settle for a few bits of dog food, beef bites, and apple slices. He is now supervising in the kitchen.

(5,556 posts)We lost our Zooey a year ago and I miss her most on the days I am cooking chicken soup - her favorite. She would hang in or near the kitchen the whole time it was cooking.

(17,444 posts)FLFC is very ill and his days are numbered. We are doing the best we can for him in the meantime. He is a five pound Pom with an attitude. We got him at five years old and he is now 13. It will be tough losing him.

Made fudge brownies last night for his bday "cake".
