What's for Dinner ~ Sunday May 13th

Still not feeling much like regular meals, but I'm not sleeping quite so much, and I have been able to start walking a bit for exercise.
I also still don't have a working PC, but I havent felt like sitting at the computer anyway.

Bill brought home some Swai...so I expect we will have fish and chips for lunch today. Probably just nibble on something light for dinner.

What's for dinner where you are?

I am not thinking too much of dinner...lunch will be a record breaker at the restaurant..462 reservations in 4 hours. Grilled bone-in chicken, breaded shrimp, grilled salmon, roast beef, pork tenderloin, german sausage, many sides, salads, desserts and homemade ice cream..a big buffet..

alternative to eat from the traditional menu .

My husband is making the drive to Pgh. to pick up both of our Mom's (a two hour drive one way). He will bring them up to our nearest town for dinner and then I will entertain everyone at our Spring concert. (I belong to a community choir).

I don't like to eat much before a performance anyway. Maybe a salad.

He had a horrible 5 year struggle with Alzheimer's, so left us a long time ago.

There will be tons of food and I picked up a beautiful fruit tart to bring.

Should be a very bittersweet experience.

Not cooking, not dealing with dishes from "delivery" - - not even choosing the restaurant.

mashed potatoes, sauteed apple chunks with lemon and ginger sugar, green salad with tomatoes and cucumber, steamed corn on the cob and a Portuguese roll on the side. Too full for dessert, but I do have some dark chocolate for later if I wish.

DH and I went to a late brunch. I drank diet Pepsi so he could sample the IPA selection--5 2oz samples for $10. Omelets and frites were very filling.
