our little Zee, who passed away a year and a half ago, loved NOTHING more than the plastic rings that are left around the tops of gallons of milk once the cap is separated from them!

She'd shoot them by holding the top of the ring in her teeth and using a paw claw to sling them. LOL! There would be a whole bunch of them gathered at the foot of the first step to go upstairs.

Sometimes she'd just walk around with one clutched in her teeth and hanging down like it was the HEIGHT of fashion.

But, we’ve gone through many of them over the years. And, some ball shaped mice with felt ears and a felt tail. From the brand SPOT. My cat will fetch those.

I also just had installed some catio walls for them to play on inside the house. This toy is pricier.

IMO a tall cat tree is necessary.

A fake undecorated christmas would be another toy.

My 4 cats are all indoor cats.

I own a cat boarding facility and my go to toys to acclimate them to unfamiliar surroundings are fishing poles and peacock feathers.

My cat's most favourite thing is the cardboard roll from toilet paper. He will bat them round, bite them, shred them.

That's bigger than her head and finally, a little red bird that tweets when she plays with it.

Petunia really only gets excited for catnip in her old age, and Cuddles, well his favorite toys are still breathing lol, you know, a squirrel, a rabbit, a bird. Oh and my leg from time to time when we walk, he loves to run up from behind and pat my lower leg somewhere like he's attacking it as he races by.

And yes, Shadow loves the toilet paper rolls too, paper attached or not lol.

Louie my 15 pound hunk likes to hide under a chair and reach out and tap my leg as I walk by. I'm glad somebody else's cat does that too.

I’m getting her a cat dancer, a tweeting flapping bird, a package of plastic spring toys, and a catnip mouse. She’s going to think it’s Xmas! Thank you all for the suggestions.

goes bonkers over are mesh laundry baskets. It's enclosed like a box, but the mesh sides mean they can see in all directions. Also, a couple have decided that rolling those rectangular baskets is the real cat's meow. Of course, dirty laundry still stays in piles in the closet, as the cats play with the laundry hamper! (LOL)

My youngest cat... 8 months old... loves fuzzy balls. BUT... while he does like to play by batting them around and chasing them, he does something NO other cat of mine has ever done. He brings one to me, drops it in my hand or lap (or on top of my face if I'm laying down) and then sits there and waits. I throw the fuzzy pom-pom ball and he races to fetch it and brings it back to drop in my hand so the whole game can continue.

I've never had a cat who played fetch before! He is an absolute delight. Not a huge cat like my others. I think, with his long, slender body and fine-boned physique and his small triangular head he must have a lot of Oriental in him. I used to have a Siamese, but she didn't play fetch. She sure could sing, tho! (LOL)

These fuzzy pom-pom balls are made up of just that... little pom-poms that are amassed together in a small ball. Kinda like a rocky meteor, I guess. He's claimed every one of them, and woe be to any of the other cats that takes an interest!

Also, one of my tuxedos has a "mine only" toy that she adores. It's got a round spoked wheel on top of a handle that, when you press the handle it flies off and down the hall. I call it her "helicopter" toy. It was originally in the kid's toy aisle, but I thought it might be a hit at the house with the cats, and I was right. Now, if only I could teach her to fetch and bring it back to me like Gabby does with his balls! (LOL)
