raw food for cats?

Has anyone gone this route? It looks like a lot of work, not to mention investing in an expensive meat/bone grinder.

I'm also wondering how the cost of this food compares with canned. Although better health for my cats has to be worth something.

and the vet wants her eating only fish. Molly is fine with that, as long as it's not Salmon. She loves Tuna.

The cats steal bites while I am getting dogs ready but I don't feed them all raw. It is enough doing it with 4 Newfoundlands and a Pom.

Below is one of the best sources on raw feeding. It is for dogs and cats and very easy to understand.

This was the other day. I told him I was shocked by how fast it got here and he asked what it was and I told him it was cat food for my cat.

He then told me about the BARF diet, something I've never heard of.

BARF = Bones And Raw Food Diet

This would certainly NOT be anything I'd consider feeding to a cat.

As for raw food in general, I tend to think it to be a poor idea at best as lots of parasites, etc. live/exist in raw foods like raw liver for example.
