I was on the horse boards at the time this happened

and saw raw video of it around the time it happened. I'd forgotten about it. Thank you for the reminder.

Here's another heroic rescue on horseback. 2011 flooding in Vermont left people trapped in the mountains. When a rescue vehicle couldn't get through a road that had been turned into a river, a horse and rider delivered meds to a trapped woman.
