Related: About this forumFinally! Got a picture of Dolly that captures the complete
essence of her little self. This is the reason I was a foster failure.

(205,467 posts)This is a great photo, but keep up the good work! You can never have too many and she's quite a photogenic subject...

(35,685 posts)Oh, japple! What a stunning kitty!
Based on that picture, I just want to hug on her.
And what a talented photographer you are, too.

(9,831 posts)subject, but she doesn't like being held at all. She was fairly wild when I got her. She had been brought into the shelter in a trap. She was dirty, pregnant, had pneumonia and upper respiratory infection. The rescue vet did a spay/abort (she wasn't visibly pregnant), and sent her home with a large supply of antibiotics. She slept for about 3 days in my bathroom. I did make a few halfhearted attempts to get her another home, but knew that it was going to be hard. She doesn't like being picked up or held. She swats and bites if you pet her too long. She lets me pet her and she sleeps with me, but she is not a cuddler, though she makes you want to pick her up and bury your face in her fuzzy tummy. She is still a half-wild crazy girl and nearly fearless.
