Related: About this forumI am not kitten sitting anymore. They have been abandoned.
I have made an appointment for the 2 sisters to be spayed in 3 weeks.
Majik is 15 & I really don't know if I can take care of 2 cats for 15-18 yrs more.

I have a weakness for tabbies.
I'll have to think carefully about my needs & choices.

(18,706 posts)4. I'm convinced I have an invisible tattoo
on my forehead that only cats can see and read that says SUCKER!!! I now have 3 fur babies. I refuse to get one more because then I would be the crazy cat lady. All kidding aside, I completely get your dilemma. I'll keep my fingers crossed that a fur baby mommy comes your way.

(10,483 posts)5. At age 68 I adopted a 18 month old rescue,
a Himalayan boy. He's keeping me young. Yes, I knew the problems that could arise, but he also needed a family. If I cannot take care of him for 18 or so more years, I'll deal with that when the time comes. Right now, I love him and he's happy here... and he's not at a shelter.
