The kittens are getting braver and Majik is still peeved.

Both teenage kits have been exploring the house. Majik is not an up high cat, once in a while he'll sit on the window ledge but not often. Both kits, renamed Pixie & Dixie are climbing up the table, dressers, window ledges, me, and I think Pixie was eyeing the top of the fridge.
Feliway is plugged in, but there is still daily growling & hissing. I did see Majik & Pixie do a nose touch, so that is hopeful.

Just got out of teenage phase with our 2.

The leaner one literally bounces off walls.

Found a good kitty repellent. Spray can of Pure Citrus Orange, label says it is citrus oil.
I spray, very lightly, the hallway rug by the front door, stops them from crowding the door when someone opens it. Has to be done once a day or when needed, but does work.

They like to get onto my bedside table, so I rubbed some Vicks Vapor rub, the mentholated kind, onto the top nearest the bed. It worked too.

::this is from the package& I get no benefits::
It is an 'analogue of feline facial pheromone' designed to prevent urine marking. 'Some kitty' urinated on my bedding, I strongly suspect it was Majik, letting me know he was upset about the kittens. (Yes I know it could be a bladder/kidney issue, but he checked out ok.). I put one plug in unit in the bedroom & one in the living room.
I cannot handle a cat peeling on my bed, if all the cats cannot get to a state of ignoring each other, I will have to think very hard about keeping the kittens. (I agreed to keep then for awhile as their family got set up in a new life in another state, they won't be back for them.)

I use Composure, which is very effective on dogs, esp. during thunderstorms and chills out cats, they come begging for it. I buy the dog size chews, then give the cats 1/2 chew when they get too wound up.
The cat formula and dog formula are identical, but more expensive to buy the smaller sized chews.

I get mine here, cheapest I can find on the web. ( I get no benefits either, just very impressed in the change on our too hyper retriever)
