We just had a lost kitty rescued that was up a tree

and wouldn't come down.

I had seen a poster on a utility pole in the neighborhood yesterday. The cat lives on the street at the bottom of our hillsde lot so I paid particular attention since it very likely could come through our yard.

This am when Snowy and I were going for her 7am walk, we heard meowing as we were coming up our driveway in the dark. A car was parked about 100 feet away and the driver was the cat's owner. Kitty had been discovered in a tree in the yard of a neighbor at midnight last night but wouldn't come down. The woman was waiting for a volunteer arborist who does kitty tree rescues.

Snowy and I just went for another walk and the arborist was there getting his ropes ready. As we returned he was packing his stuff away after a successful kitty rescue! Who knew? Apparently the local animal shelter has the names of these guys who volunteer their time to do these rescues.
