(4,079 posts)I've never seen a cat tolerate water like that. Especially not a tabby. What a beautiful story!

(238 posts)The pic of the cat and the girls in the bathtub with them washing him is amazing!!! Every cat I have ever had would have leaped out of the tub, found a hiding place, and hissed at me for a week for getting him wet!!

(575 posts)I have a cat we rescued who was hanging around our garage and having kittens. We took her in to be fixed and she still hung around.
We took her in and we have loved this Maine Coon beautiful cat for years.
We have a dog at 12. When we adopted her we heard her story. As a pup was adopted. Beaten and abused. Kept in a cage for days without food or water and underweight.
We got her at 6. Queen bee. Spoiled and adored. Wanted and needed. Half poodle and half terrier. The best soul you will ever meet.
Then came Charlie. Maltipoo and dumped on the streets at a year. 3 lbs when picked up. He is all of 6 today. Loves to bark at mailman. Had to learn to trust and love. Once he finally did he loves petting and adoring.
