Heartworm, ringworm, hookworm, and fleas

Our little Shih Tzu "Gypsy" is almost 9 months old.

We are struggling trying to figure out how to combat the pests I have listed.
We have her on Trifexis but she throws up on it and we think it is poisoning her.

Looking for advice from dog owners on what to do.
We live in the San Diego County coastal region.

This is Gypsy (on the left) and her friend Teddy.

I use Revolution on my two dogs and that covers, fleas ticks and heart worm. My dogs are very large though. I would definitely speak with your vet about using something else. In the old days I used to use heartguard and then a separate flea/tick medication. Good luck and I hope you can find something that works better for Gypsy. Both your dogs are adorable!
