Related: About this forumI put this video up on Youtube. It is my new foster kittehs.
I got 2 new fosters last Thursday. They are not from the same litter One is growing like a weed and the other lost 6/10th of an ounce between yesterday and today and has diarrhea pretty bad. I am going to call animal services tomorrow and see what I should do. I stopped their wet food and am just putting water on some good cat food that I have. But the little one does not seem to like it. Earlier I cooked a scallop and he loved it and bit my finger trying to eat it. But I didn't give him all that he wanted because I was afraid he would throw up.
He seems to be the runt of the liter - right now he is 12.4 ounces. He screams a lot and he is not lethargic.
So I don't have names for them although I think they don't mind if you name them because they have to make up names. Anyway I am calling the little black on "Prince" and the little little one, "Squidgy"
So here is a little video. Squidgy is getting overpowered by Prince

(23,418 posts)loosely all over and I've been cleaning up after them but I hope they haven't been infecting the others.
I read about the Miralax. I'll call tomorrow and see what they say.

(24,725 posts)one's canned food... or rehydrated dry food... and add a half teaspoon of psyllium powder and some water and mix it. Most cats adore nutritional yeast flakes, so I sprinkle that on top to inspire the appetite. I also add a raw egg yolk for more protein and, because it's raw, it'll add digestive enzymes to the meal. The amount of psyllium can be adjusted.

(23,418 posts)and they want to keep an eye on him. I feel really bad - I just suck at being a foster parent. I miss him, I don't want to give him back and I fear I did something wrong. I feel like I should have brought him in earlier
But that being said I am glad he is there and getting the attention he needs. They said that because the other one, (I names him, (the black on) Prince) is so much bigger that he may be taking all the food. Even though I have way too much food out maybe Squidgy didn't feel safe enough to eat. idk before they decided to take him they told me to feed him separately. Also they said that all the kittens that were out had diarrhea and they are going to do a fecal test on him.
