We are going to get our little lady spayed this week. She is 5 months old now

Miss Daisy Mae will be going in Friday AM and they say we get to pick her up Friday pm

She has been a bundle of energy and love. WE are so very happy that we got a mate for our Angus. They are best friends and love to run in the back yard together. He has a couple of "dates" and then we are going to get him neutered as well.

I am sure I will be a mess of nerves on Friday.

You are doing the right thing, and she will be ok. There may be a few days of inconvenience, but that will pass with your love and care.

I assume she will have stitches? Will he try to lick her so much? We will have to keep them separated

Simple routine surgery though she may feel pretty yucky for a day or two. You'll be astonished how fast they bounce back from this.

I'm sure you'll be anxious though and miss her a whole lot on Friday, but you're doing the right thing and both you and she will be much happier for it. Everything will go just fine, and she'll be back home again before you know it. It's just going to feel like a REALLY REALLY long day!
