As if Madoc isn't already sweet enough

He’s figured out how to ask for a kiss. He crawled up, ever so gently patty pawed my lips and looked at me with a soft eyed kitten face that would melt the heart of any human being. So, of course I gave him a kiss. Gryff then looked at Madoc, looked at me and stretched up so I’d give him a kiss, too. Then they both curled up and purred.

Madoc figured out how to get into the closet where I keep the big bag of dry food for the ferals. Fortunately it's SO big and slippery, he can't quite make it to the payload. Yet, anyway. I'm going to have to block that door!

My Pittie literally figured out how to open my interior entry door! Already changed back from lever to round knob.

17. It's a 32 lb bag of food. I'd need a tall, slender bin to fit in that space.

Fortunately the quest is still beyond his capabilities but that's so temporary!

I should just put the bag in a utility tub with a well fitting lid, and keep it out on the screened in porch.

It's a bright, sunny day and they are soaking up sunbeams, so they will probably be extra energetic, this morning.

I can imagine them just prior to Madoc's kiss request.

Madoc: Watch this. Bet I get a kiss out of her.

Gryff: Wow! Madoc, you are so smart. Let me try.

I've had Madoc since he was a month old but Gryff was a 3+ month old 'toss away' kitten who hid for most of the first day he was here. Once he and Madoc decided to be friends, it was as if Gryff was a part of the original garden litter. Gryff couldn't be more affectionate and they now vie for the best place on my lap.

and learning the ropes from him on how to act in his new environment. Madoc is again enjoying the company of a "litter mate." It's a win-win for both of them, and a plus for you.
