I think the acceptance process is complete - Gryff rolled over and showed me his belly

Every single day I see him getting so much more comfortable and affectionate. He and Madoc are now truly bonded as brothers and I couldn't be happier.

If they ever stop rampaging and settle down, together, I'll try to get a good photo.

That is a good sign! When we adopted our feral Sophia she finally did that after a few weeks. Ziggysmom Nov 2021 #1

Now at 2 years old you'd never know how she started out. She bonded with our boy Stanley and has become my husband's shadow. It can take time, but all animals respond to genuine love and caring. They are totally worth the effort. I enjoy your kitten photos 😊

if not for our fur kids. With severe COPD on oxygen he doesn't get out much. Little Sophia entertains him and gives lots of love and snuggles. He spoils her rotten, she even has her own tablet for games & videos

Maybe Gryff and Madoc
Will let you pet thier floofy bellies.

Othello loves it when I pet his belly ,he just rolls on his belly when he's done.

So it's possible.

At least she does when she's in the mood for it. Unfortunately, it's not always easy to tell if she is in the mood or not. I've lost count of how many time I've mistaken a belly display for an invitation and was "rewarded" by having my hand attacked.

When she is in the mood, though, there's nothing like running my fingers through all that soft, warm, belly floof to make me forget everything bad that's ever happened to me, for a few fleeting moments.
