I have decided

To wean Othello off wet food. I cant afford to try and try different foods every few days.

I know he likes his kibble a mix of fancy feast with garden greens, the filet mignon one and purina one sensitive stomach.

He never barfs from the kibble. He likes it and its not got me switching foods every 3 seconds.

So when I get the new cat that kitty will be a kibble cat too.

Rustle,Sparkle Bear and Vinny all ate kibble they all lived to become really old. No health issues except for Rustle he got cancer when he was 14.

Plus the flavor guessing game with Othello is getting really old and causing my anxiety to get worse . I hate throwing out perfectly good wet food. Donating what's leftover after the weaning to the local shelter. Done with this shit.

I give them ONE can of some sort of Fancy Feast a day. They seem to eat the grilled beef and a few other flavors but I hear you. I hate throwing food away! That's why they just get the one can a day. They tend to eat most of it up.

Occasionally, as a treat, I give the a can of human tuna that I find on sale at Winco or some such store where it is .69 a can.

Hang-in there Panther! You've been through a lot over the years. You seem to be a stronger person than you give yourself credit for.

Take care friend!

Tiddles loves FF but wants refreshed wet food constantly. He was feral, so maybe that's why. We waste so much wet food. He always have kibble available.

As cat owners know, getting catfood is hard. He cannot eat seafood flavors or he vomits. We're down to buying the $1 FF that break into two. That's expensive.

Good luck

Not go down or certain catfoods become as easily available as they were regardless of the aluminum supply.

More price gouging bullshit.

treats every am and pm. The hard food is better for their teeth. If they use a litter box it’s worth getting high quality food.
The better the food, they less they eat and the less you have to clean up. Rachel Ray Nutrish indoor complete is what they are getting now.

is better for her teeth. She eats Purina One for Indoor Cats. She gets occasional small pieces of meat when I make a sandwich, and of course gets some of the tuna when I open a can.

But she is not a picky eater at all. She will eat anything I put in her dish, and snatch anything I put in my dish.

My cat is very fussy about his wet food, and with the shortage we can seldom get his choice. He wastes about half of what we put out and that is too much to tolerate.
