Went with my sister. Had a blast looking at all those gorgeous cats.
Here are a few photos I took at the show.
And the best in my cat show goes to..
Othello! A beautiful bicolor sweetie!
He wins my heart every time,he is my champion.

(115,974 posts)The cats are beautiful and the people tend a bit eccentric. I got to pet a Sphynx cat at a show; she felt like warm suede and purred a lot.

(9,249 posts)I never knew Persian longhairs were so popular.
I like the Maine Coon, the Bengal,...and of course, your Othello.

(14,529 posts)I was thinking the exact same thing....I mean technically I love all kitties but I had no idea the Wilford Brimleys as you put it were this popular..

This is Buddy and he is just the sweetest guy you'd ever meet.. blue lynx point
Rosalie and julie red flame points.
She fawns over her precious ones just as bad as I do over Othello. We both are just terrible..😻
We are a family that loves the kitties.
Grew up around cats. Don't know what I would do without a cat around. I do know it would be so lonely and empty without a cat to adore in my life.

(12,496 posts)Is a little god or goddess in fur with eyes that shine like the sun in the night. Sacred children of Lady Bast..with a most beautiful and fierce goddess
Lady Sekhmet as thier aunt.
There are no ordinary cats, and each one is perfect.

(3,432 posts)I don't really like the extreme brachycephalic features on Persians nowadays, too extreme. But their fur is gorgeous.

And that would the response!
Othello is handsome anyway. Reminds me of one of my bazilllion cats over the years.

I don't think I've ever seen a cat with leopard spots like the one above.

(20,245 posts)If you get them as kittens, your can train them to walk on a leash. Otherwise you have to get them an exercise wheel.

(11,578 posts)I've been more drawn to dogs over the last few years, because I acquired a "step-dog" when I got remarried. I'm still a cat guy at heart, though.
Thank you for the show!
