I'm pretty sure I'm going to be adding more pate to the kitten's slurry meals

They are gobbling the weaker blend down!! There's also a saucer of milk and one of water in their playpen.

If they were 1 day old when I first saw them, that makes them 28 days old, today. By my calculation that comes to FOUR WEEKS OLD!!

The most precious thing is, I came in from some yard work and went to check on them. They were all snuggled in the kitty bed but when they heard my voice, the immediately began to bumble out the hatch, meowing away.

I'll put some photos together and post them a bit later on. I'm going to finish one more outside project and then make something with the leftover salmon, pour myself a glass of wine and relax with the boys. And then it's back to socializing the kittens. Which is probably almost completed since they love to crawl up my leg and cuddle on my lap.

Gryff actually prefers kibble and Madoc will eat anything. I'm starting to transition them away from kitten food so I'm mixing in some adult food.

I give the ferals a wet/dry mix in the morning and then some dry in the afternoon.

nuts every time we see a cat or small dog and she literally waits before going outdoors if there is a wild rabbit she doesn't want to startle, wagging her door behind a partially opened door. We've foster-raised a couple that needed bottle feeding and she absolutely doted on them.( I wanted to be a foster failure with them, but I'd signed an agreement to rehab them back to the wild). I doubt my sweet girl will ever forgive me.

Kittens lack the proper enzymes to digest the lactose in cow milk, and feeding cow milk to kittens can cause diarrhea and dehydration very quickly in very small kittens.

Same as with Madoc and his litter mates.

It's pretty expensive, when feeding 4 kittens, but I'd never cut costs and risk their health.
