Little Gwyn and I bonded relatively quickly, given his age and feral state. But he and his sister could not be going to a better home.

And I still have Carys to socialize. She's getting much better but still tends to run away when I reach for her. Once I have her, she snuggles right in.

As soon as she's comfortable, hopefully next week, I'll get her to the vet for a check up and start the vaccinations.

I sent all mine away this week and have been a weepy mess all week, even after discovering that one of them was a freelance pooper.

. . . those two appear to have Siamese coloring???

I'm well-acquainted with Siamese, because, back in the mid-1960's as a college student in (a certain Southern state), I shared an apartment with (her name will remain secret) and her Siamese named "Dammit!" - - - because she was always shouting "Dammit, get off the curtains!!" "Dammit, get off the table!!" Dammit and I slept on the sofa . . . most of the time except for an occasional memorable interlude when . . . well, you get the picture.

We graduated and went our separate ways . . . I went first to Vietnam then into the Army for 30 years, she wound up married to a member of Congress from (a certain Southern state).

Little Eira's face is almost an exact miniature of his. Gwyn's face is shaped more like his mother's and he has striped legs. I was talking to someone at the local pet supply store and showed her pictures. She said they look like they have strong Blue Point Siamese genes.

...say lynx point Siamese.

If you rescue more like Gwyn and Eira, and I am within 300 miles of you, expect me to show up at your door! We have had 3 blue-eyed cats over the years. Right now, we have none, and I want another blue-eyed beauty desperately.

She loved this song, and said it reminded her of home. I love it too, and always think of her when I hear it. Hauntingly beautiful song.

a more than passing resemblance of the darker one to the late renowned Grumpy Cat? The markings are very similar.

All the other kitties in the house have this sweetness too! When I look at Mikey when he's sleeping and all stretched out, he still looks like a kitten. A 15 lbs kitten but he still has that sweet, innocent looking face.
