awaiting x-ray results but initially not optimistic. Everyone's sad. They're 200 miles away from me. (Glad other branch of family is nearby, but away for the weekend.)

'“The most common gastrointestinal issues causing owners to seek veterinary care for their dogs are dietary indiscretion (eating of food that upsets their GI tract), ingestion of a foreign object, intestinal parasites, pancreatitis, and chronic inflammatory intestinal disease (caused by food allergies/intolerance . . .)' George not eating now, and daughter doesn't know what's up.
