I'm going to have to delay Merlin's vet visit by one day
Woke up feeling 'off', again. Nothing serious. I do think my body is fighting off something.
Merlin seems to be doing just fine. He was really active, last night, making it hard for me to get much sleep. He has a very loud and shrill 'chirp' he uses to let me know if I'm falling behind on paying attention to him. I don't want to put him anywhere he would be alone. He needs to someone to snuggle up with and stay warm. Most nights he sleeps just fine, between feedings.
I did take him up to Arthur and Madoc, last night. Arthur sniffed but didn't hiss or growl. That was a first. Madoc just kind of looked at him and started to open his mouth. I stepped back, but all he did was yawn.
He's over my heart, fast asleep. Hopefully I can very slowly place him in his basket so that I can get my day started. On Monday my out of town guests are arriving so there's work to be done to get things ready. They took in a pregnant stray who gave birth, about a week ago. Her sister is watching over the new babies and the rest of their fur babies. The trip can't be rescheduled because it's tagged on the end of a writer's conference and speaking engagement. Merlin will help fill that kitten void.
I just want to be 'up to snuff' when they get here.
