She was not involved.
There was SUPPOSED to be an organized peaceful protest yesterday, as other area schools have done successfully. Early in the AM a notice was sent to parents that the protest was canceled citing “security concerns.” I can imagine a number of students were not happy about this. If the district had allowed the planned protest to proceed, none of this would have happened.
This was all caught on film. The students are livid and want answers. Naturally, this town being the redneck capital of Bucks County, there’s a lot of “she should have just obeyed the law” BS. The chief of police, who has been in this job for around 30 years, CHOKED A CHILD. Time for him to go.
I’m glad this is getting national attention.

Minors have been held overnight without charges or a phone call to a parent or their lawyer?

Wrong. Some might, but most are just waiting until they can act like ICE.

and the numbers of MAGA's that infiltrated the ranks of LEO's nationwide, small dept's and large depts.......
Also the numbers that have taken reign over the Secret Service, National Guard, etc etc etc....the list is endless.....

The Police here in Denver and Aurora are prime examples, with the Colorado State Patrolmen and women being the exception.
They are outstanding in their performance and politeness......

A small group of high school-age students (probably no more than twenty), mostly girls, holding signs, standing on the sidewalk, peacefully protesting, when several burly men in plain clothes wade in, yelling, grabbing, pushing, wrestling a few to the ground, choking one and arresting several. Totally unprovoked and excessive use of force, doing what cops always do.

You can be sure that the girl's father, uncle(s), or brother(s) will help to straighten the cops out......
(and not in court)

they were simply big, burly (mostly) white men attacking girls. No other way to see it at first glance, IMO. Police these days are above the law, know it, and make the most of it. I'm former law enforcement... and former military police. The units I served with in those days could never have gotten away with this kind of crap. I knew more than a few who were totally unhappy they let females into the military police, and some in civilian positions who felt the same way... but no one would take down a child and choke her for simply holding a sign and protesting. At least back in those days, the Constitution still meant something in this country.

the taxpayers will foot the bill for the payout, not the individual officers. The officers are allowed to hide behind "qualified immunity".........

The City of Denver, and the City of Aurora have paid out many tens of millions of tax payer's dollars, in lawsuits against their Police Dept's these past 5+ Years. One in Aurora esp that was the result of cops & paramedics literally euthanizing some innocent young black guy, just walking down the street minding his own business......Guilty of only "walking while black".......
