Man arrested for threatening Colorado Gun Control Advocate Representative Rhonda Fields

Why am I posting this in the Gungeon? I guess it is better than the GD.

DENVER - Denver Police arrested Franklin "Frank" Sain, 42, for threatening Colorado Representative Rhonda Fields, an Aurora Democrat.

According to police, he left emails and voice mails for Fields' office which were threatening in nature. Fields has sponsored two pieces of gun-control legislation and is a vocal advocate for restrictions on firearms.

John Morse, President of the Colorado Senate, says the threats were directed to Fields' daughter. He noted this was particularly concerning and "way beyond disrespectful." Fields' son was shot and killed in 2005.

House Speaker Mark Ferrandino and at least two other House Democrats have received similar threats....

I know Mrs. Fields. Her district borders mine. She is a very good person to have in the Colorado House and doesn't deserve this from a gun nut.

Nothing is more important to them than guns. Children mean nothing, death means nothing suffering means nothing.

The gun is a tool that puts more power in the hands of those who already have power, and less power in the hands of those who are already weak. It has been the greatest ally racism ever had, and the greatest creator of oppression and tyranny.

Those who support the gun are living in a fantasy-land, and deserve no respect from anyone.
