Police: Man pointed gun at neighbor taking a walk

MOSCOW MILLS, Mo. (KSDK) – A 52-year-old man is charged with pointing a handgun at a neighbor after his two dogs allegedly charged at him, barking and growling.

It happened in the 100 block of Blue Bunting Circle. The victim told police that he was taking a walk when two dogs charged in his direction, prompting him to take a small can of mace out of his pocket and yell at the dogs to back off, according to a news release.

The dog owner, identified as Timothy Smith, allegedly pointed a handgun at the victim and told him to "keep walking." According to police, the dog owner kept his gun pointed at him until he was completely down the street.

The sheriff's office revoked Smith's concealed carry permit, according to a news release.
