Criminal charges in accidental shootings nonexistent

If it’s called an accident when a Louisiana child shoots himself with a parent’s gun, that parent won’t face criminal charges.

Even some states most often associated with pro-gun citizens and government — such as Texas and Florida — call those parents criminals. Louisiana does not have CAP laws, shorthand for child access prevention.

CAP laws have been implemented in 27 states and the District of Columbia. There’s no federal CAP law.

“Legislatures must ask whether they want to guide behavior in their states by imposing additional civil and criminal liability,” said Raymond Diamond, LSU Law Center professor.

how can they have criminal charges?

For the record, I think they could be charged with at least child neglect or worse if they can be.

So what are your thoughts on the Google cut and paste today?

Directions

Mix eggs, milk and hot sauce in a bowl.Hot sauce does not maintain it's heat so use how much you want.
Put flour salt and pepper in another bowl.
Heat oil in a pan to about 300 deg.I use peanut oil.
Dip Spam in egg then flour and fry til golden brown.I serve with Chicken gravy and mashed Potatoes.
I also use this method for cube steak, fried chicken and fried green tomatoes.

accounted for the distribution of millions of action/trigger lock devices during the time frame cited.

Bargain motor oil is generally just as good as the more high-priced spread within their respective general types (conventional, synthetic). Just look for the SAE (Society of Automotive Engineers) viscocity rating, and the API (American Petroleum Institute) performance rating. Housebrand SAE 5W-30, API SN is as good as Shell, Exxon, Pennzoil, etc. of the same rating. Today, I purchased O'Reilly's house brand (5 qt) oil, and a house brand oil filter (no reason to suspect it, either) for $19.00.

Unable to get prosecutions or persuade legislators to address this issue in any effective way.
